This pair of stamps featuring team pursuit speed skating and skeleton athletes in action were released to commemorate the XX Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy. We wanted to convey the glistening ice, aerodynamic motion and nerves of steel which are common to both of these sports. Working with sports experts, two illustrators and a team of printing gurus, we developed the stamps, cancellation mark and a collectors Official First Day Cover.
